We had a great day celebrating my birthday last Sunday. Sunday birthdays are definitely the best!! Of course there had to be cake...with ..yes ..just 1 candle:) I had a lot of help blowing it out.

We walked to get some coffee up on Gong-yi road. A great walk with really nice sidewalks (a rarity here:) Maya kept looking up at the sky/sun with a style reminiscent of Stitch from "Lilo and Stitch" Just after this pic she leaned so far back she fell on her butt!

More bits and pieces

What have we been up to?? Well let me start with..how can one so small create such chaos... I walked into a flooded playroom this morning...Maya had emptied water bottle(s) all over the floor...she does try to help clean it up...soaking the water up in her clothes. Very busy and not sleeping too well...teething Maya so .. almost 11pm...need bed... here are some pics!

Dylan loves going through the "exercise obstacle course" Maya also wanted to try, as with everything at the moment. If Dylan can do it, she sees no reason that she cannot.







Playing on the slide downstairs. This is the first time Maya has climbed up and slid down by herself..she has always been a bit nervous of going up even when Dylan tried to take her up. We all gave great cheers and then Dylan decided he would catch her at the bottom. Of course she loved this!!








Pics a bit out of sync...Halloween last week. We painted lanterns.




Finished product.... Maya was scared of hers once we put it on and went into the bathroom (dark room).




Went to the Art museum last week... yes i do make my family pose in full sun:)) Just love this one.. poor things..hats down:)
