Sunny Sunday

The weather is starting to cool off nicely and really become fall. Sunday was a beautiful day so we headed out to the park and had a hotpot for lunch. 

Jazz festival

Just realised I had not posted the jazz festival pictures. Actually the two weekends before Halloween. We managed to get down there both weekends this year. Lots of fun. The kids love the atmosphere and the music:) There were some people that even set up full dinner tables etc on the grass. The whole event is put on by the city government and you just go along and set yourself up on the grass by one of the three stages. We managed to catch an accapela group from Switzerland, a funk group from taiwan, a malaysian quintet and some smaller taiwanese acts.

Halloween

We had our Halloween activity at school on the Monday before Halloween. Kids were super excited and Maya has been planning her costume for ages. She wanted to be Iron girl and Dylan wanted Batman. Keshnee found a cute Iron girl costume transformed from an Iron man costume on the net but we could not find and iron man costume so had to make it from scratch....turned out well though:) Both kids one a prize for their costumes:)

Fun in the park

Yesterday we met Andre and his mom for lunch and some fun in the park. We first got some shopping done at Sogo and for the first time we were there there at the right time for the clock which goes off every hour.

Double ten day

Double ten day is Taiwan's national day so we had the day off. The kids made sand pictures and we just had a pretty relaxed day. Pics below are from the naked cafe at park lane..nice little restaurant that has yummy food!!
