Mom arrived , bringing with her some football fever..after carrying a large vuvuzela into China and being asked to demonstrate to the customs officials who had a giggle..(they knew all about it as football fever is there too). She brought a wig and baby vuvuzela for the kids (nothing baby about the sound....which they started blowing at 6:45 the next morning..mom slept through it...hmmm secret ear plugs or just tired??

We took a short train trip to Dajia.

In Wufong there is the earthquake museum which is both interesting and terrifying at the same time.
There is also a moutain area that has a fantastic view and is also home to both a temple and a church.
Mom bought Maya this outfit and she insisted on wearing it even fell asleep in it.
At the Confucius temple and Martyr's shrine in Taichung..Dylan was taking good care of his sister.
At the night market...the kids had a ball with all the games and rides.
WE had a cake to say goodbye to mum but we always have to blow out candles on a cake:)) So we celebrate unbirthdays.
At the Taichung park..lots of birds, squirrels etc...but VERY HOT!!!!
Mom always stepped onto the balcony for a cigarette...i managed to close the door locking her out (by accident) a few times!
