Been a while again..I have all good intentions of blogging at least once a week..but then something happens. All good though. Maya has just become a bit of a handful and she is into everything so constant watch is necessary and while Dylan is an excellent watchman when it concerns his things..his breakfast, his toys etc... he is not to worried about anything else she gets up to:)) In fact sometimes they are in cahoots... like him helping her open the fridge...hmm!!!

Maya has had a bit of a cold..but so cute..she doesn't like the medicine we are giving her..but if you cheer and clap for her she will take it..in fact she will do anything if you cheer and clap for her and say she is good!!! When Ciro gets home at lunchtime she stops whatever she is doing and says "baba" or "daddy" (baba is chinese for daddy and the nurse refers to baba when he picks them up) If she gets hold of something that she is not supposed to have..like a half open bottle of water that Dylan did not close properly..she runs away with it...knowing very well she is not supposed to have it. I gave her a 'time out' the other day..she kept trying to play with a plug...she was slightly confused and a little unsettled (she knows 'time-out' from seeing Dylan) Dylan was very interested in the whole process and quiet happy it was not him.
Dylan is doing well he is really into his singing and dancing ...but not necesasrily mine..when i sing in the car the cd is requested... hmmm...should i be offended:)))) He is speaking more and today his teacher was happy because he is using more Chinese in class too. On the weekend we went for a (very)long walk ...well both days... Up past Wen shin road along Daye and then across to Gong yi to an area with loads of restaurants. Dylan loves being out and really enjoyed the walk, there is a park next to Carrefour with an excellent see saw and swing...Actually the first time he has been on a proper swing...he was more interested in the see saw though. No pics of that..too busy with the little Maya who just wanted to slide:)

We have often driven past a restaurant on Gong yi road and wanted to stop there...old looking building..there is never parking nearby though..so this time we were on foot and decided to stop. Really beautiful inside, we had a private tatami room..overlooking the fish pond!!! Lovely!!! Dylan loved the place and although Maya slept (nice and comfy) once she woke up she too enjoyed it:) Pics below...
