New year

Lots happening here with the little people..everybody talking more, moving more, keeping us on our toes more:) Dylan has grown so much in the past month. He is really into puzzles again and he loves singing and dancing. Maya reminds me so much of Dylan at that age in that she is so brave..she loves riding the rocking horse but stands and rocks...no fear and when she does fall down or knock herself she goes right back to where it happened and tries again. We went to see Madagascar 2 on the weekend..Maya was a little nervous..very loud!! D enjoyed it

Chinese New Year has come and gone..we are getting ready for lantern festival..Dylan made a lantern and then hid out in the dark bathroom to play with it.







Maya loves walking in her shoes and when it is time to leave the house she gets very excited.



We spent a windy day at the Science museum park on the first day of the year of the ox.

Photo CD's came home from school(daycare) on Friday (the end of the semester). We have a two week break now because of Chinese New Year. So here is a semester wrap up of Maya..

Maya is one!!!!

I cannot believe it is a year since she was born...time flies!!!! Our little girl is a year old today! Everyone slept to almost 8 o'clock..YAY. We had some pressie time this morning..she got a Lucy doll and some Winnie the Pooh bath toys. Then we packed up stuff for a picnic at the park by the Botanical gardens. Maya loved roaming around on the grass and she seems to enjoy my strange bread/cake packed full of vegetables as much as her brother does:)) Later we had a teddy bear cake which she could not wait to get her hands into. She has been the boss today...got a bit of attitude for her birthday:))) She is really so cute at the moment...walking everywhere and wanting to do everything her brother does. This morning they were building great block towers together with Ciro. Dylan was also very excited about her birthday....especially the cake! Having trouble uploading so here are some pics...more later..

It's 2009

It is 2009!!!! i have been struggling to upload the last few days..but this seems to have worked. We had a four day weekend which was pretty quiet. I had an awful sinus infection..so been a bit under the weather:) New Years morning was a beautiful morning here!! We walked to a park near our house for a picnic...lovely blue skies!!







Maya is into everything at the moment. She is always on the move and is a real climber. She also watches everything her brother does and thinks she can do the same.
