Maya turns two!

Maya turned two today..how time flies!!! It feels like just the other day she came into this world. We celebrated her birthday yesterday and then she took a cake to school to celebrate with her little "class". She has grown so much over the last while. She gives a running commentary on everything. She loves to pick out her own clothes (as long as they have either Dora or Elmo on them) She loves singing and dancing and has a great little sense of humour. She is asserting herself more and more and her favourite word at the moment is "my" everything is my..my Elmo, my bowl, my rice, my dylan...yes even Dylan apparently belongs to her:)) She loves playing with her dolls , feeding them and making food for them. She also loves playing with everything that is Dylan's so often a transformer is seen to be attending a tea party:))

This pink tiger her daddy picked out for her was definitely the favourite!! it had to do everything with her for the rest of the day...as you can see from the pics below.

The cake..Dora's backpack....difficult to do a gluten and dairy free cake with an egg based icing..colored with natural juices so...we had to change plans at the last minute when the colors went more purple....thankfully Ciro saved the day!! Backpack or as Maya says "pap pap"
