Mom arrives and Dylan's graduation

We never expected a visit from Mom this year but at the last minute (literally in a span of two weeks) things fell together and she was able to come. She was here for three weeks and we tried to do as much as we could with her. The kids were super excited waiting at the airport....

 Dylan graduated from kindergarten this year. Instead of a big song and dance production the school opted to have a day out at the sunflower farm and beach. the kids were presented with albums of their pics...here are some of the actual grad pics;)

An amazing bug on the way to Hsitou forest.

 At Cilin lake near Hsitou. There were so many people going up to the forest we decided to find another area to look at and stumbled upon what i can honestly say was the quietest place in Taiwan:)
