The highs and lows

Where shall i start...Dylan fell asleep really early tonight..so i can finally post something!!! We went to Kenting(Southern Taiwan) two weeks ago and had a fantastic weekend down there. The weather was wonderful and it was not too busy as when it heads into autumn the locals don't frequent the beach! We were pleasantly surprised with how long the journey took us as we left after work on Friday and thought we would be there in the wee hours of the next morning...made it by midnight...yay...will be doing that again..after Maya comes of course. Dylan loved the sea and the fact that we found loads of pebbles (his favourite thing is collecting stones) made him soooo happy!! We also went into the water park and arcade...needless to say we all slept well. We headed home via the amazing aquarium down there...lots of fun!!

In the water park and arcade.

In the rock pool and running on the beach.

"The sea"

Lovely weather in Kenting

Dylan loved the beach!!!!

Walking in the national park at the tip of Taiwan.

Walking on the rock pools and the pensive Dylan.

Okay so you ask someone to take a fam picture and they almost cut the kid out..sigh!! This is just outside the aquarium....overlooking the sea!

Outside the Aquarium and the huge kelp forest inside.

After our wonderful weekend...mid week we were hit with a blow. Dylan was wheezing and making strange noises as he slept...took him to doc and they hospitalised him with pneumonia. We asked to be referred to Jen ai hospital ...where he was born and where Maya will be born..they offer international patient assistance and are just a great hospital. He had to have a drip put in which is always a traumatic experience but we managed to get a private room so he could move around /watch TV and just be a bit more comfortable. They discharged him on Friday evening and thankfully we headed home and tried to recuperate for the weekend.

The low....Drip in and ventilator going..and then finally asleep!!
